The lectures 'Protokolle Verteilter Systeme', 'Entwurf Verteilter Systeme','XML-Werkzeuge' and 'Architektur Verteilter Systeme' will not be held in the first lecture week (11.10.2010 - 15.10.2010). They will be rescheduled to a later date.

Europe funds ICT-Research at VSR within the FP7 research program!

We are happy to announce that VSR's researcher of the Chemnitz University of Technology will contribute to Europe's FP7 research strategy. The Open Mashup Enterprise service platform for LinkEd data in The TElco domain (OMELETTE) is a STREP project within Objective 1.2 Internet of Services (Call 5). The consortium coordinated by the Spanish company Informatica Gesfor consists of organizations from six countries. OMELETTE aims to provide new platforms for service composition addressing mass users served by the telco industry. It will provide support for the development of telco services, their flexible usage in mashup environments and their deployment on an open interoperable mashup delivery platform. VSR is happy to announce that Olexiy Chudnovskyy has recently joined our group as research associate. His research will contribute to Web Engineering, Service Infrastructures and a soon to be anounced new research area. We welcome this new team member and look forward to his contributions.
