The paper "Multi-Touch zur Unterstützung agiler Softwareentwicklungsprozesse" by Michael Krug, Hendrik Gebhardt and Martin Gaedke has been accepted for the Mensch & Computer 2011 taking place from September 11th to 14th, 2011 in Chemnitz (Germany).

The upcoming lecture “Management verteilter Systeme” will be rescheduled to Wednesday, 1st June, 7pm in room 1/367a. We are happy to announce that Dr. Javier de Andrés will give a talk about advanced functions for the estimation of software effort.

The paper "WebID+ACO: A distributed identification mechanism for social web" by Dominik Tomaszuk, Hendrik Gebhardt and Martin Gaedke has been accepted for the Federated Social Web Europe taking place from June 3rd to 5th, 2011 in Berlin (Germany).

The Paper "Integration of Telco Services into Enterprise Mashup Applications" by Olexiy Chudnovskyy, Frank Weinhold, Hendrik Gebhardt and Martin Gaedke has been accepted for the ComposableWeb 2011 taking place on June 20/21, 2011 in Paphos (Cyprus) in conjunction with ICWE 2011.

We are happy to announce that Dr. Javier De Andrés from University of Oviedo, Spain has recently joined our group. Within the framework of ERASMUS Programme Dr. Javier De Andrés will share his teaching experience and introduce his latest research results in the field of "Information Systems". We welcome our guest at VSR and are looking forward to inspiring discussions.

We are happy to announce that Dr. Daniel Fernández-Lanvin from University of Oviedo, Spain has recently joined our group. Within the framework of ERASMUS Programme Dr. Fernández-Lanvin will share his teaching experience and introduce his latest research results in the field of "Error Recovery and Exception Handling". We welcome our guest at VSR and are looking forward to inspiring discussions.

As part of VSR's strategic goal for becoming a space for talents from all over the world, we are happy to announce that José Fernandez from E.T.S.I. Telecomunicación, Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM), Spain has recently joined our group. The Technical University of Madrid is one partner in the European FP7 project OMELETTE. As a guest researcher, José will work with us on our joint project tasks and work packages. We believe that the visiting researcher approach is right in the spirit of European research and a big win for the European funded project, as it means more efficiency and effectiveness in solving problems, closer collaboration, and also a great chance to exchanging different research philosophies. VSR is proud to be the host for the next months and looks forward to inspiring research discussion and lots of joint contributions. José, welcome aboard at VSR!
